The menu at Cascina Veja is inspired by the world's greatest chef, which is nature. It manifests itself through the cycle of its seasons. In fact, ours is a true organic agritourism where the commercial farm is the main focus. We offer only fresh, seasonal, farm-to-table produce from our garden or from selected local farmers and breeders.
Our guests will have the opportunity to taste the most authentic flavors of country cooking, one that represents simplicity, quality and wholesomeness. We offer Piedmontese dishes in their most traditional form, made at home with dedication and love, to delight the palate with an authentic culinary experience reminiscent of our grandparents' dishes.

Breakfast with products from the farm
At Cascina Veja, you will be eager to wake up in the morning to be treated to our wholesome 5-star breakfast. Every day, we work to prepare a hearty buffet with homemade cakes, tarts, cookies and bread. Sheep's milk yogurt from our farm is freshly made by us every morning. Eggs, strictly from our hens, are cooked on the spot upon request. Classic salami, cooked salami, baked ham and various types of cheeses are prepared by Massimiliano, following traditional recipes from the Valley. In the summertime, we also serve strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries from our greenhouses, as well as delicious fresh fruit jams made with farm-to-table produce and delicious homemade apple juice. Finally, the always popular savory quiche to please all palates.

Food service in the evening is open to room guests, and there are also a few tables available to guests "passing by."
Dinner features a set menu that changes every day, based on the production of the greenhouses and the seasonality of the produce. Every evening, we prepare something new and fresh with the harvest of the day. The menu includes 4 courses: an appetizer to start, a first course, a second course with a side dish of vegetables, and to end on a sweet note, a homemade dessert. This is traditional Piedmontese country cuisine. Our cuisine focuses on freshness and quality, unlike others who often resort to pre-packaged ingredients. This rigorous food philosophy promotes a genuine connection to the land and farming, offering an authentic and sustainable culinary experience.

In tradition, "lunch at grandma's" has always been an important convivial moment filled with joy and hearty meals. At Cascina Veja, we offer "the memory" of this tradition to guests who wish to enjoy a Sunday in the midst of the most unspoiled nature to have lunch with friends or family, with a menu based on traditional flavors of the past.

Packed lunch
Upon request, we prepare a packed lunch with sandwiches filled with our cured meats, homemade cheeses and fruits from our greenhouses.
